Don't forget about the Mississippi Gulf Coast; we have wonderful fresh shrimp and oysters, redfish and snapper, and in the spring we have great boiled crawfish with spicy corn, potatoes,and sausage. Gulfport-Biloxi is just a hop, skip, and a jump from New Orleans, and you will find fabulous food just about anywhere along the Coast.
