There are so many beautiful B&Bs in Cape May. I suggest you take a look at a great web site http://www.capemay.com. They have a listing of all B&B's, restaurants, etc. There is also a map of Cape May to help you figure out where you want to be. I would suggest on Decatur, Perry or Jackson St. You need to make reservations very soon. I own a condo that I rent out and I'm fully booked for this season.

Last year we stayed at the Angel by the Sea - excellent - a little pricey but for us it was a special occasion. It is alittle bit north of the hustle and bustle but makes for a little quieter location. You can still walk to everything or use one of their bikes - you are right across from the ocean and it is just beautiful -Beautiful antique furnishings. Wonderful breakfast and afternoon tea - I believe it is noted as one of the best B&Bs in the country - have a wonderful time.

I agree that the Angel by the Sea is a wonderful place....but it is not really walking distance to the Washington street mall....but it is right on the ocean. Nice places in town that are closer to everything and still close to the beach are: The Humphrey Hughes house, the queen victoria, the Mainstay, my parents have stayed at the Summer Cottage Inn for three years now and rave about it, also....if you like country more than victorian, the Wooden Rabbit is really quaint -I've never stayed there, but I've gone on tours and it's beautifully decorated. I think the BEST place, as far as atmosphere goes would have to be the Southern Mansion....but it's INCREDIBLY expensive. The place is just dripping with history and the renovations that have been done to the place are amazing. Also, a friend of mine always stays at the Duke of Windsor. Hopefully this helps
