Best & most romantic nat'l park to visit in October

What is the best & most romantic nat'l park to visit in October? My husband and I want to go for a week actually 9/28-10/5. We don't want freezing cold temperatures either.

Any fabulous national park? We've been to the Smokey Mountains...looking for something new please!

Thanks.

PS Also, we want some activity, possible nightlife. Thanks

Grand Teton National Park or
Volcanoes National Park

Go to www.nps.gov for info.

To me most national parks are romantic. I would suggest Yosemite National Park in California. In October the waterfalls have started up again and it's usually not to cold yet.

Also if you want night life you might try Zion National Park in Utah. It's near Springdale, but I'm not sure how much night life you're going to get near any National Park.

I'd say Yosemite. Fall is beautiful there and still can be quite warm. Usually no rain yet so the waterfalls will be dry but there is much more to see there. I've been there lots at the end of Sept and the evenings are cool and the visitors are lower.
