Bellagio - book now or wait?

We want to stay at the Bellagio in Vegas for 3 nights at the end of our holiday before flying back to the UK, which will be from Mon 26 Sept. Have been quoted from a discounted hotel website a price of $745 for Mon/Tues/Wed night for a deluxe room. I have joined the Bellagio website for any future promotions. Are these good rates and do you think it would be a good idea to book now at that price or wait and see if there are any promotions with better rates. Obviously don’t want to end up paying more by hanging on and booking nearer the date.

Book now and than cancel is you see a better rate later on. Just make sure to book the better rate first and than cancel the original reservation. Try for a lake/fountain view, one of the few hotels I'd pay extra for the view.

If your discount hotel provider does not allow cancellations (most don't) then I wouldn't do it. Right now you can book a deluxe room at the Bellagio web site for those dates for $777. That's not much higher in price and it's totally cancellable.

One thing that I don't understand is that if you book a deluxe room through Bellagio for 3 nights starting on the 26th it's $777. If you book each night (26th, 27th, 28th) separately, the rates are $259, $199, $199 which only comes to $657. If it were me I'd book the room for 3 nights and call the hotel directly to see if they can give you the $259/199/199 rates right now. You can always change if something better comes along later.

A deluxe lakeview room for those dates is $927.

jlm mi - I thought the same as you, I didn't understand why when adding the 3 nights together it was cheaper than the overall price!!!!!

I'd book thru the hotel 259,199,199 and then watch rates...There's a very good chance the rates will go down to 199,159,159, then you can change your reservation.
