2 adults - 3 children. Sea Pines Resort is unavailable for my dates. Looks like a great place. Looking at Vero Beach now. Has anyone ever been there?

I've never stayed there. But I used to live nearby and would eat there. I liked to wander around the resort. It looked really nice. I may be wrong about transportation to and from Orlando. Call them and see if they do offer transportation. I seem to remember big Disney buses.

If you really do not want to rent a car, you could fly to Boston, which is served by most airlines in the US, then take the ferry to Provincetown. Nice beaches, sand dune tours, etc. a quick taxi or bike ride away.

Take a look at Virginia Beach. Wonderful area with lots of hotel on the beach, good dining. Could certainly do it without a car.
