Beach holiday in July / August with no humidity

My husband and I have always chosen to take our summer holiday in June as although we both love the beach, neither of us can handle humidity - we also like it when the heat drops off in the evenings. Now that our daughter is in school we have to holiday in July/ August - Any suggestions for a beach destination with guaranteed sunshine, but relatively low humidity ?? While I'm posting this on the US forum I'm welcome to suggestions further afield..

Lisa:

Southern California has some nice beaches, good chance of sunshine, and low humidity (San Diego). I am originally from the east coast, and can tell you that the Carolinas and Florida are horrendous that time of year. The Atlantic might be warm, but there is high humidity. You might want to look into Cape Cod...

We enjoyed the Grenadines in June and July and the temps were 80's and low humidity. No a/c in the rooms and it was very comfortable for me and I love it cold at home.

I've been uncomfortable in other areas of the caribbean in July (Vieques/PR, Bahamas comes to mind).

West coast of the US. Specifically southern California if you want to swim.

Another vote for So. Cal. San Diego area would be my first choice.
