Bath and Body Works Outlet at Primm

Is it worthwhile going to the outlet stores at Primm before heading for Las Vegas in order to go to the Bath and Body Works outlet store?

Is that the outlet at state line? If so, it is a really nice outlet mall and well worth the stop. They have outlets for Banana Republic, Hold Everything, William Sonoma, etc.

Thanks, leslie... that's the one, I think. Haven't been to a Bath and Body Works shop anywhere and I know there are lots of Bath and Body shops in California and Las Vegas -- but this one's an outlet store.

Haven't been to the one at Primm, but I did run across a Bath & Body Works store at a large outlet mall in Northern California a few months ago. Unfortunately it was pretty much a normal store and there weren't any sale items. Big letdown at an outlet mall.

There is also one in Zwiebrucken, Germany. I live about 20 minutes away and was thrilled that this store was so close. I was ultimately disappointed by the merchandise in the store, very limited selection of the same products that are in the store, and also the same price. It isn't a discount store at all, but they had a lot of those little travel size bottles. Big waste of time, on the otherhand the Burberry store and the Versace store where amazing and thank god they take Visa. I spent alot in those two stores and the merchandise was definetely priced right.

Thanks, guys! Now I wonder if stopping by the outlet in Primm is even a good idea since my main reason was to go to the Bath and Body outlet store!

Whoa...before you make a trip specifically to the bath and body works outlet let me tell you my impression. I've been to several bath and body works outlets. They are usually in the Prime Outlets which are my favorite outlet stores. It has been my experience that the prices are the same as in the stores...so if the stores are having their clearance sales (Jan and June typically) then the outlets are too. This is different from the body shop outlet which typically has close outs on stuff and has things marked down. Hope this helps.

I have about 4 Bath and Body Works stores 50 miles or less from me. Are they that rare?

Yep, none in Hawaii. One store in a Honolulu mall carries a few of their products but that's about it. Big deal here. B&BW won't even ship to HI, I just found out.

We just returned from vegas and I would not waste your time going to the outlet mall in Primm. It's a big warehouse, depressing. We went specifically for Buberry and St. John. It was junk. The stuff no one wanted. We bought at the shop at the Venetian. Sorry, just sharing my personal experience.

The outlet won't have any special deals, so just go to one of the stores there in Las Vegas and buy stuff to take back to Hawaii.

I was just at the Bath & Body shop in Caesar's Forum, Las Vegas, last week.
Was able to get some great buys! Bought lotion that was buy one, get one free. They had several items reduced. Tricia

Thanks a lot for sharing your experiences. Now I am wondering if it's worthwhile stopping by Primm except maybe to rest! It's just really crazy how B&BW is such a big deal here in the islands!

Are Bath and Body Works products a highly desired commodity all over the islands, or just in Honolulu? Here's the reason I'm asking: The concierge at the hotel I am staying at on the Big Island has been extremely helpful in setting up a special event for me. Hearing how coveted these products are, I am wondering if she would appreciate receiving a few, as a small gift, in addition to a tip. I want her to know how much I appreciate her going out of her way for me by going out of my way to purchase something she might like -but only if it is something that is really special to women on the Islands. Otherwise she might just think: Why did she buy me this? What do you think? Thanks for your help.

Hi Lisa,
All I know is that a lot of my officemates have B&BW lotions, etc. on their desks and when someone goes to the mainland, friends request for or order B&BW products. I even see recycled B&BW paper bags being carried around. They're not available online and I recently found out we can't even mail order it. So yeah, I think gifts from B&BW would be totally special to local ladies in Hawaii. That's what I plan to bring back for gifts!

Wow. I had no idea how coveted these items were in Hawaii! Seems like there's one on every corner here.
Just got back from las vegas yesterday
and saw lots of bath and body stores in the hotels, et cet. No, I'm not confusing it with the Body Shops that are in every airport either. I've been to BB&W outlets here in California, and there wasn't any deals. Get the same price, i.e., 3 bottles of hand soap for 10 or 12 bucks. As for the outlets, I didn't go to the Primm outlets, but went to the other highly touted ones, I think it's called Belz Factory STores a couple of miles south of Mandalay Bay.
I didn't really think it was such a great place. But that's probably because we have outlet stores just like theirs 40 miles north of our home.
They may have had BB&W, but I don't recall seeing it if they did. maybe they have a web site where you could check. Belz Factory Outlets, Las Vegas

Thanks, Dana! It's really weird how sought after B&BW are here, eh? Just imagine me wanting to make a special trip to a mall or outlet store in So, CA and Las Vegas just to see B&BW! I am absolutely curious. My friend preferred Primm over Belz but I realize now different people have their own preferences. Only the Primm outlet has B&BW. But now that I know that the prices are the same, I won't control myself at the first B&BW store that I set foot in! Thanks all!

We have a B&BW store in our small town mall (town pop. 20,000)and it's constantly busy. I can't even IMAGINE how much my 10 year old daughter has spent in there. If she receives money as a gift or a mall gift certificate she races straight for B&BW. They are masters at marketing to women of all ages. I wouldn't stress too much about hitting the outlet--go to the store at Caesars instead. Since it's late summer they have huge discounts before stocking up for fall/holidays. Fun fun fun!

OK, now you all got me curious. We have a Bath & Body Works store here at our local mall, and I usually just stroll on by. So what am I missing? What are the great items I should be seeking out?

What I see a lot is the cucumber and melon hand lotion. This is just so mind boggling, huh? Thanks for your advice, MOM. My daughter has received cute B&BW stuff for girls as well so she is excited, too. One of my friends is going to Las Vegas next week and plan to take B&BW orders from officemates. I know this is hard to believe for you gals who see B&BW shops all over the place up there!
