try: www.dodgers.com or angels.mlb.com or www.mlb.com

Dodger stadium is a much better venue.

Agreed. didger Stadium is not only a better venue, it is one of the best places to watch a baseball game anywhere. Check the team's website for tix. It might be helpful to know that the nights are rather cool in LA, but if you sit along the first base line in the upper deck, you get the sun until it disappears for the evening. Otherwise, bring a jacket to the game.

Silvie: The San Diego Padres (www.padres.com) will be playing at home that night against the Colorado Rockies. Come down to San Diego for a day or so.

Angel games very rarely sell out, unless the Yankees are in town (or the Dodgers are playing an interleague game). You could get tickets the day of the game, but you'll get better seats if you buy them in advance. Of course, you can also get really good seats buying from a scalper in front of the stadium before the game, but it will cost you more. If you go the scalper route, arm yourself with a layout of the stadium to check the locations. Scalpers have been known to lie about how good the seats they are selling are.

Edison Field where the Angels play was redonw a few years ago and is very clean and nice. It will be a very nice place for you to visit while in town. Keep in mind that the Angels are currenty in 2nd place in their division. So if they continue to play well, the tickets may become more difficult to get as the end of the season approaches, especially if they are contenders for the championship.
