Back Bay Amtrak station to Prudential Center

I am arriving at the Back Bay Amtrak station at 11:30 a.m. for a noon appt later this week. I must look fresh, not wilted from the heat. Assuming it isn't too hot, can I walk? It looks close by, but are the intersections too hard to cross on foot? It looks like there is an interstate highway. I will have just a briefcase (no luggage).

It's pretty close. You'll just walk down Dartmouth toward Boylston and take a left on Boylston. It's about 3-4 blocks. There's no interstate to cross, it's an easy walk.

You can also cross Darmouth Street and walk through the Copley Place Mall. It will also provide bathrooms to clean up in if you want to. You can walk through Copley Mall to the Pru and stay inside if you wish.

Thanks so much. I am hoping my interview goes well so I get to come up for meetings and stay longer than a day next time!

Definitely cross Dartmouth St. and enter Copley Place. You can walk from there to the Pru in total air conditioning. Duck into the Marriott (at the far side of Copley Place) to freshen up.

Good luck!
