B&B's in Mendocino, CA - Suggestions?

I would like to spend a few days and nights in Mendocino, the town proper or its environs. I've been to the area before, but stayed in a motel in Fort Bragg. This time I'd like to pamper myself a little and stay in a nice (not necessarily fancy) inn or B&B. Two that have been mentioned by acquaintances are Rachel's Inn and John Dougherty House. Any other suggestions? Anyone been to Mendocino this summer? Thanks.

Check out www.cypresscove.com or www.mendocinopreferred.com for a couple of really great places! They have been written up in Best Places in No. CA as well as Best Places to Kiss, and deservedly so. And yes, I have been to Mendocino this summer! Warmy, sunny weather last week but this week we're back to "Fogust"!

What about Sea Rock Inn? Some friends of ours have highly recommended it. We are planning to stay there the end of September.

ebvacationer: Um - I seriously doubt mimi is still looking for a place -- since she posted 8 years ago
