The river flows the other way. You can float from Page, thru Horseshoe Bend TO Lee’s Ferry. It’s a great 1 day trip on a raft. A kayak would involve paddling not just float.

South / Downstream from Lee’s ferry is the Grand Canyon. the next access point is about 200mi downstream which is a 2 week float. That is a magnificent float on a raft. It has many rapids and only expert kayakers should attempt that part.

The outfitter I saw ferries you upstream from Lee’s ferry and you float/paddle back down to Lee’s ferry and your car, going past Horseshoe Bend.

Makes sense. You'd park at Lee's Ferry, they bus you to Page, then you float back to Lee's Ferry. Yes, that's a lovely float. Whether you park at Lee's Ferry or Page, it's the same float.

Beware that the water is remarkably cold even in the middle of the summer as it comes out of the depths of Lake Powell.
