Authentic Hotel Website?

Hi, I have been looking for an inexpensive hotel in Las Vegas for one night and I discovered a website called www.hotelclub.net which had really affordable hotel rooms. The prices were so reasonable it seemed almost too good to be true.

Has anyone ever heard of this site and used it? Any information on this site or others that would be useful in my search would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just did a VERY quick check of two different nights at Circus Circus. One was a Sunday night and the other a Friday. At the site you listed the rates were $58 and $103 for Sunday and for Friday. At the Circus Circus website the prices for those nights were $29.95 and $94.95. It's not clear whether those are with or without taxes without filling in more info. Have you compared the prices on hotelclub.net with other rates available directly from the hotels and also at sites like expedia or travelocity?

Just a question regarding those prices for Circus, Circus. Are those the amounts of money they pay the guest to stay there? Surely they aren't charging that much for people to pay them to stay there?

I have compared the prices to other search engines and the hotel websites (we are actually in Vegas for 4 nights, due to a change of plans, we ended up without a hotel for our first night) the prices on hotelclub.net are about half the price of any of the prices quoted by the others.

We arrive in Vegas late on our first night, so we are most interested in an affordable place to sleep for a couple of hours, If we can get a great deal on a posh hotel for the night, I'm all for it, otherwise, I just want a clean place to rest up for the next action packed day.

Thanks for the input so far!

If you want a clean place to sleep stay ANYWHERE except Circus Circus. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to stay there! It's a horrible hotel - cheap, yes, but ask yourself why. One walk through it and you'll know. Kids EVERYWHERE, smoke, noise, old, dingy furnishings. YUCK!! You can do SO much better. Try the Tropicana - older, yes, but still in good shape and less expensive than the new places like Bellagio or Mandalay Bay. Also try the Monte Carlo - very nice and also less expensive, although more than the Tropicana. Just DON'T stay at Circus Circus.

Funny Patrick!

For the record, I wasn't suggesting anyone stay at Circus Circus having never been there myself. That was the first hotel name that I noticed on the list, so I just used them as an example of how hotelclub.net was definitely not cheaper than the hotel websites.

Syren1714 - If you're looking for a good deal for just one night somewhere in Vegas, try priceline. Go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com and see what other people there have gotten for hotels in your area of interest, then bid on priceline. You can usually get some good deals depending on the city and date you're interested in.
