auctions near Hartford?

I could have sworn I once look into a locally well known auction , either Friday or Saturday evenings, in the Hartford area--maybe north, near Avon or New Britain?
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Don't know if it is still going on, however Canton Barn (near Avon) was a popular auction site. Check the Sunday Courant..usually advertises up-coming auctions.

Ever been? I'm not a big serious auction fan, but I'll be in the area and it looks fun

I have been there several times and the auction is good fun. They have fabulous pies - plan on having a slice. Another auction house is Nadeau's near Hartford. Generally they have better quality antiques, a more professional house (no pie). Depends on what you are looking for.....
