How prevelent are ATM machines in smaller Alaska towns?

By "smaller" do you mean Seward/Homer etc. or small towns in the bush? Many Alaska towns are very small indeed. Most towns on the road system big enough to have a bank branch will have ATMs.

Yes, I did mean small towns like Seward and Homer. How about in the Denali area?

Just trying to decide how much cash to bring.

Denali has tourists...yes there are plenty of atm's. Oh how I loved denali. 12 hours on a school bus but I do it again in a second...it was magnificent...geez I can't remember the last time I used the word magnificent. Have fun!
