Atlanta GTG-Unedited Photos

The first Atlanta GTG was a smashing success! Thanks to everyone...as someone that had another GTG expressed..."It was fun to see your friends that you had never met!"

These photos have no captions and I am out of time at the moment, but you can take a look anyway and I will edit later this evening or tomorrow. The fat girl is moi..so be nice!

You're killing me, iceu2!!

I think I can tell who OWJ is because I can make out her name on the name tag, but everyone else is a mystery, lol. Can't wait for you to post captions - you all look like a friendly bunch.

Glad you guys had a great GTG! Looking forward to the full report & ID's for all our fellow Fodorites too.

iceeu2, I sympathize on the pressure of posting the report & pics...that's my job here in NJ.

Iceeu2, I was expecting to see a photo of the "killer shoes" you wore to the wedding!

I am having a pretty good time just trying to put screenname with photos, but will certainly appreciate the names when you have a chance.

Glad everyone had such a good time!

Hint: You can sometimes read the nametags if you click on the full-size image option.

Wow, what fun photos! and good ones, I could see the names and everything and no one looked all out of whack the way some people do when the photographer doesn't know how to do it well

Sara looks like a young Meryl Streep!
iceeu2, so great to put a face to the name, as well as sweet OWJ & Mr OWJ and kswl and NOT SO OldSouthernBelle LOL

Love, click on the part under the photograph that says make image larger (or something like that) you will see the name tags, the pictures fill the whole screen and I never want my face on a screen like that, but you will be able to read the tags LOL

Thanks Scarlett, I did have a large picture but guess not the biggest. Hi mms, I tried to access the site right now but it is way too slow. Think half of Fodor's must be looking at the photos!! How fun! Will try it again later. And btw, not to embarrass OWJ and OWJ2 but you can see why I adore them and had such a wonderful week. They are one of the most wonderful and loving and fun couples you can imagine.
Sorry OWJ! Know your face is red,LOL.

OMG! Now the thought of having my face plastered on the Internet is sinking in I've got to get me to the plastic surgeon before the NY/NJ GTG

Thank you, Miss Scarlett, for giving directions! I have now managed to read all the name tags, and I, too, was wondering who looked so much like Meryl Streep! What a lovely, fun group .... I can tell just looking!

Birgator, I like your shirt! Chimney Rock is just a couple of hours from where I was born...

OWJ & iceeu2, your choice of food has me drooling here! Oh, the mushrooms ... wish they were HERE! Thank you, iceeu2, for posting these photos ... it is such fun to put names with faces! Glad you all had a great time!

So what was the final number of attendees? You guys were smiling so much - I would be too if I had those mushrooms to eat! And yes, Belle, it looks like the wine was good

So close, yet so far...I was there in spirit. While you all were noshing in Buckhead I was doing software training at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. (Pretty nice rooms after the renovations, great food for a hotel banquet department, and excellent service from everyone on the staff, BTW)
Looks like another successful visit to the 3-D world for a group of Fodorites. Call me sentimental (OK, I know that is a setup) but it is so great that a shared interest in visiting far away places can be the basis for some local human interaction.
