Atlanta Downtown Restaurant for Saturday
I need a reccomendation for a nice downtown restaurant for this Saturday evening. I want something within walking distance of Philips Arena. We love italian and greek and have many favorites in the area, but want to walk to the restaurant after parking at the Omni hotel. I don't want it to be too far since the weather looks like it's going to be cold.
Many thanks.

rosa's pizza 62 broad street is the only greek or italian restaurant i found within walking distance. I probably wouldnt classify Rosa's as "nice". If you're willing to take a cab a very short distance ie within a mile or 2, that would definitely open up more possibility.

Forgot to add, if you are willing to take a cab 2 miles away there is a Greek Restaurant called Avra on Juniper Street I ate at a few weeks ago. Not that expensive ie two for dinner is less then $100 and its pretty good food.

Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, calling Rosa's anything but a hole in the wall is a wild exageration. And when I worked downtown and went there once a week, it was only open until about 6 or so.
Stand in line and shout your slice order over the crowd to the pizza maker. By the time you get to the register to pay, your slices are crispy and hot. God, I miss that place.
