For our time and money, Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas is by far the most beautiful beach we have ever enjoyed! In our opinion it beats St. John and other Caribbean beaches and here's why:

1. Crystal clear water great for snorkelling. (Better than the more advertised places on the area.)

2. Nobody hassles you to braid your hair or sell you something.

3. Mountains pop-up out of the water for dramatic views of the Caribbean.

4. Live entertainment by iguanas.

5. Two well-stocked refershment vendors within a 100 yard walk.--At night you can also enjoy live bands and dancing on certain nights.

6. Within a mile of romantic sunset cruise departures at a nearby marina.

7. Lush green vegetation within 10 feet of the water and beach offering a privacy shield or shade when desired.

8. A gorgeous drip-pool with a most memorable 365 view of the Caribbean.
