OR and WA are very beautiful states. I am planning on going back to visit in the coming years. I am a nature lover, and love to hike, so there are plenty of places for me to venture and explore. For the meanwhile, I will just have to settle with all the armchair traveling.

Cherthor--I grew up near Silver Falls. We do a lot of hiking and backpacking in the mountains, and this summer is going to be rough as all trails in both OR and WA will be closed. Many of them until the end of September. It's going to be a rough summer! Fishing is closed too.

Melnq8--Really? Wow! I guess I have just taken them for granted as we see them all the time on higher elevation hikes.

Cherthor—thank you. We are so fortunate to have the mountains so close. We probably won’t get to hike and backpack this summer as literally every area is shut down due to Covid 19. Some forests are saying until the end of September 😢

It is by no means that I am hogging this trend. It is just that in such a difficult time, we need to show how beautiful this country is.

The World trade Center Sphere

Liberty Island

The Oculus structure at the World Trade Center
