Arizona Wildflowers Coming

Out here in Arizona rains have been abundant in recent days. This likely will result in desert wildflowers blooming in enormous numbers, starting at the lower altitudes within the coming month. If you want to see what that explosion of blooms looks like, look at the current issue of "Arizona Highways" magazine. It is a stunner. Absolutely gorgeous.

Hi

Sounds great! Could you post some suggested driving loops, roads and / or destinations to hike where the viewing of wildflowers should be good (I know you can't guarantee) .

Thanks Pamela

Hi there, I'm going to a weekend workshop in Scottsdale Mar 14-16th. Anything good flower viewing around the Scottsdale area? Will this be a good time? Driving in from L.A.
Thanks!

Here comes the sun! Storm track now moving northeastward through Utah, and we bask in clear skies, 60-mile visibility, temperatures in the 80s in the lower desert, and up about 70 in the central mountains, and chillier up on the plateau country around the Grand Canyon.

desert wildflowers are more a function of the rains in the fall. There was rain then, resulting in a good crop this year
