Please help! I have 9 day in Oct.Hiking Angles landing.I will start in Flagstaff and need to spend one day looking at colleges. Want to see Sedona( but I don't have to)Grand canyon, 4 corners, and will end up at Zion. The in between time is where I am stuck. What do you recommend. I don't mind getting up early to see Bryce at sunrise. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

I wouldn't bother with Four Corners, not much there there unless a tour of the Rez is what you have in mind. But even then, actual Four Corners isn't worth the drive, unless you were on your way to SW Colorado. With the short time you have and distances, confine yourself to Flagstaff/GC/Zion/Bryce, maybe Capitol Reef.
Please explain "in between time".

Not really familiar with four corners. My daughter would like to place all 4 of her limbs in the four states at the same time, am I mistaken about that? The in between time would be from Oct 8-14.8th I should be in 4 corners and make my way to Zion.Hiking Angles Landing on the 15 of Oct. Should we do Sedona? Should I try and get to Antelope Canyon? Which parks/hikes should I see at sunset and sunrise? Open to Suggestions. Thanks

4 corners is over rated--but it is fun!! You should query the parks you are interested in--look for trip reports. You will find all sorts of info. If you search my user name, you will find trip reports for all 5 Utah NPs plus Kanab/Antelope Canyon and Bluff/4 corners. You need to read up a bit more and post a day by day itinerary and then see what people say.

4- Corners:

Yes, you are wrong. The monument is off location by 1,800 feet.

" Nonetheless, there remains the question of how close the Four Corners monument is relative to its intended location. In fact, there is a discrepancy between the actual location, which we know to a high degree of accuracy, and our best knowledge of where it was intended to be located. But, instead of a 2.5-mile discrepancy, as reported in the initial news items, this offset is in fact only about 1800 feet, or less. "
Antelope - human zoo - crowded. Best time is June 21-21 when sun is directly above. It is in Navajo Land. Tour buses leave Page every 20 minutes. Yuck
Try Wapatki park north of Flagstaff. Ancient Indian ruins.
Plus a volcano park
Also, north rim Grand Canyon. Hotel reservation are a problem

Day 1: On the trip from GC towards Moab, when you get to Kayenta, head north on 163 (i think) and at least to a look at Monument Valley.
I would squeeze in an extra day in Moab, even if it meant a quick drive through of Capitol reef and Escalante with a night at one or the other.
We finally made it to Delicate Arch last year, and granted we are geezers, but it was a bit harder than I expected. In any case you will need a couple of very good flashlights if you plan to be there for sunset (which is early at this time of year). If you click my name you can scroll down to the TR report i did that describes that with a link to pictures. I'm pretty sure there is a link to pictures of the trail too.

Look at the one of the trail over the slick rock and you will see the need for good light if it is dark when you return.
The section just before you get to the arch view area has a ledge that is quite narrow with a drop straight down and people tend to go both ways and want to cling to the wall so you have to go around them on the drop off side.
