Are you bored? Find me a flight!

Hi all,

I'm beginning to get square eyes from staring at my computer screen for so long!

So if you want to kill some time - find me a cheap flight please!

Perth, Australia to Los Angeles
August 22/23/24/25

Return
Sept 4/5/6

Thanks ;-)

About AU$2600 is the best I can find (Malaysian), $2900 on Qantas.

Or you can buy a 26,000 mile RTW ticket from Qantas and go Perth - Sydney - Los Angeles - San Francisco - Vancouver (aren't you coming to Seattle?) - London - Singaport - Perth for around AU$2550 plus tax (say $3000) and book a lot of frequent flyer points in the process.

What, no life? Me?

See - I knew someone would respond - thanks
gardyloo - yep am headed to Seattle but cheapest option seems to be a return LA flight with Alaskan air to Seattle tacked on.
Hubby has pulled out of the trip now so I'm going solo...
I've located a Malaysia air return to LA flight for AUS$2037 inc taxes however only on sale for the next week and of course I need to pay upfront. My problem is that I don't have access to my travel funds until I'm confirmed at the conference - and I don't have that yet *sigh*.
So I know it's an awesome price but I don't want to get stuck with the ticket if something goes awry - I'll have around $3500 travel funds to play with but probably only $1500 of my own cash to contribute....

Advice please!!!

Chelsea, I did a simple search on Orbitz (using the flexible dates tool) and came up with: $1,698 + $292 taxes & fees = $1,990 per person.

Thanks Maggi - I did just had a look at Orbitz (Air NZ) - the price in AUD is $2527.
Still not bad! I think that's probably a similar option to what J62 found. Air NZ has horrendous (14h and 8h) stopovers - but I guess that's what you get for a cheaper price. And it makes the Malaysian airways flight look even more tempting...

I just don't think I can commit to the Malaysian airways flight (and pay) right now.. so I guess I'll have to take the risk that I won't be able to get a flight that cheap later on...

I'm not bored, just curious.

Why not check into "round the Pacific" flights which go for as little as $1,500 US and allows you to circle the Pacific?

Good luck!

One well known Aussie travel agent that focuses on round the world and circle fares is Best Flights - see for example http://www.bestflights.com.au/cgi-bi...indetails=2103.

If memory serves they're actually located in Perth.
