anyone stayed at ClubIntrawest Kauai?
We just booked the Club Intrawest in Kauai (Princeville) for a week in June. Has anyone stayed there? Can you recommend a specific unit we should request? We have reserved a 2bedroom. Also how is the weather on the north shore in June. I hear it's rainy in the winter, but isn't June the dry season? Are there any helicopter tours in the North shore area or will we have to drive down south? thanks!

Hi, Laurie - Have been traveling to Kauai for twelve years and have never heard of this resort. Where exactly is it in the Princeville complex? I can only assume it must have been under another name prior to this Club Intrawest. We will be traveling to Kauai next week and will be on the North Shore for several days. I will be glad to check it out for you if you give me the location.
Also, I would suggest traveling to the Lihue area to helicopter tour with Jack Harter. I think he is the best and most experienced on the island. He also will not fly if the weather is inclement like so many of the others. However, if you choose to go with Jack's company, schedule early because his reputation precedes itself and he books up early(www.helicopters-kauai.com). Also, Will Squyres ([email protected])is also very good as well. And, yes, it should not be as wet on the North shore in the summer as it is this time of the year.
Enjoy!

The Club Intrawest in Princeville is part of Pahio at Bali Hai Villas, a resort which is maintained by Pahio but shared with Club Intrawest. I haven't been there, but it's highly rated by the Timeshare Users Group (www.tug2.com).

We stay at The Cliff's in Princeville and Intrawest is located right at the entrance to the Cliffs. Have never been in any of the units, but have heard good reports on them. I have some Kauai info I've compiled. If interested, drop me a line at my email address and I'll forward it to you.

Hi Rich - my 3 friends & I will be in Kauai in March for 3 days. We want to know about a sunset BBQ ride in Princeville & wonder how long it takes to drive from Coconut Coast area to princeville. We also want to do a helicopter tour - looks like we'll be driving up north 1 day & down south another. Any suggestions on where to stay? Thanks [email protected] if you would like to reply directly.
