Given my desire not to pay 700 bucks to fly from lax to hawaii it donned on me I have 75k amex miles. Apparently Hawaiian Air is a partner -- just curious if anyone has done this. thanks,

Easy as it can be ? Make sure there are seats available on the flights you need, call membership miles and either transfer the miles to your Hawaiian Air FF account(if you don't have one go to their website and start one) or have Amex buy you a tickit on any flight you want(they pay up to 800-900, I believe.Either way Membership miles will guide you through it. You can get there for less than $700 with a travel agent from LAX. Save the miles = )

I used Am Ex Membership points to transfer into my Hawaiian FF account last year and had no problem. Got a free ticket to and from Seattle/ Lihue. Good way to use Am Ex points. Good luck.

I've transferred Membership Rewards points to HA before. It only takes 3-5 days for the transfer. Just make sure you book the award seats FIRST as the transfer is a permanent one.

I just booked a trip through Hawaiian Air using AMEX Memebership Rewards. IT is easy! Make sure they have availability, then reserve the seats. They will hold the reservation for 21 days so you can call and transfer the points to your Hawaiian Air FF acct.
