Anyone ever get burned doing a VRBO?

My wife and I stayed two weeks last year in a marvelous garden apartment in Paris and have nothing but praise for the experience with VRBO. The apartment exceeded all our expectations. The owner was a joy to work with. Would we go again? You bet!
