Regarding the Mount Dora Art Festival, yes, I have been there. It is typically held on the first weekend in February, so that will be the 2nd and 3rd this year. It's quite good and you will enjoy it.
The weather forecast for tomorrow, Feb 2nd is sunny with a daytime high of 77. It should be a great day to be outside.

The Coconut Cottage Inn was great. Extremely comfortable, eclectic atmosphere and the innkeepers were so warm and helpful I would go back just to hang out.
We walked to the central downtown area which was close.
The Arts Festival was packed and the variety of art available was vast. The weather was warm and sunny.
On Friday night we had a delicious dinner at Cecile's French Corner. The assorted appetizer plate was so tasty and the combination of flavors wowed me. The salad and quiche lorraine was perfect. Service was friendly and caring and went that extra step to make sure we were happy.
On Saturday night we ate a mediocre dinner at Pisces Rising. It seemed the kitchen and our waitress were overwhelmed.
The calamari appetizer came with a tomato sauce which tasted watered down. When I mentioned this to the waitress her reply was that there was some broth in it and what was unsaid was that the problem was my ignorance and not the sauce that was the problem. It was all downhill from there. I was expecting a special meal since I had heard so many good things about the place. Too bad.
Sunday afternoon we lunched at the Retro. The mushroom brie soup was outstanding, Then I had caprese flatbread which was very good. Friends had burgers which they enjoyed. Service was very good and cheerful despite full capacity.
So there is my mini trip report.

off topic but related....
We looked in to getting married in Mount Dora and had it not been for the strict noise rules that required us to end our party at 10pm we would have.
It is such a beautiful place.
