The Wizards are going nowhere. They are just what "his arrogant one", Michael Jordan, deserves.

Did you check to see if they had a website or checked the Chamber of Commerce?

Are you talking about preseason practices or regular season practices? I know that preseason they are done at UNC-Wilmington. I believe that in regular season they practice in the practice court within the MCI Center. This court used to be available through the restaurant built into the MCI Center, but since it is closed down, I'm not sure if the court is still available for viewing. I would contact the MCI Center or see if they have a website discussing practices. I'm not too sure what you mean by interactive games (video games, hands on shooting games?). I have season tickets to the Capitals and don't remember seeing any games at the MCI Center.

thanks for the help dave. I'm talking about regular season practice. I don't remember where I read about watching practices from the restaurant/grill at the MCI center. apparantly that is outdated info if it's closed down. This same publication indicated that the sports museum at MCI center included numerous computer/interactive sports games. for example a game of horse with a wnba star on a full size basketball court key. this all sounded very interesting to my son (12) an avid basketball player and fan. we plan to visit dc in Nov 2000 and wondered if this would be worth a break in the museum/monument tours.

Try www.mcicenter.com Then whats@mci.
It breaks down each floor and the museum/games. They may be able to help you with the practice schedule. Try their E-mail. It may not be worth a special trip but for a break, a 12 year old BB fan would probably like it.
He would probably like the Discovery store there too.

thanks for the help everyone. I did email mci center and got a prompt response. Found out that practices are closed session. Will probably go play the interactive games, tour the museum and shop the Discovery Store and perhaps get tickets to a Wizard game.
