Any Vegas style spas in Portland, OR?

I'm trying to find the kind of spa where there is more to experience than just a massage and some tea in the quiet room...

Example: I love Manadalay Bay's spa with the hot and cold tubs and wet and dry sauna's, lounge chairs in the big open room. Also the Fairmont in AZ with the spa pool and delicious lunch menu...various spas in Palm Springs/Desert...

Can't seem to find anything better than a glorified salon in Portland. To be be fair, I've only been to Rejuvenation and the Portland Spa but neither was what I'm looking for and I'm tired of being disappointed. Am I just out of luck up here? Have I been spoiled living in Southern California my whole life? Please help!

I like Rejuvenation, but yes, it is more about the the treatments than the whole experience there.

I am not aware of any spas that are exactly like what you are looking for. However, Dosha is nice and I have had some great treatments there. It has more atmosphere than Rejuvenation. They have a couple locations, but I have only been to the Glisan one.

The only hot and cold tubs around here that I know of are at the Trailblazers training facility, lol, sorry!

If you find what you are looking for here, I would love to know.

I posted and it did not take...I second Dosha although, as mms says, it is nothing like the spa experience you speak of. But look at the above link, I have read a few raves about it. Good luck~

I had a nice experience at Dragontree Spa.

Also Avalon and Aequis looked interesting, but I haven't tried either.

Thanks - I've noticed Aequis and Dosha on citysearch. I wish the websites were a little more descriptive though, it's so frustrating going somewhere expecting one thing and getting another...Also, I've never heard of DragonTree, I'll have to check that out too!

To be fair, I had great treatments at both Rejuvenation and Portland Spa. And the massage at my trainers was great too - just not the whole experience I was hoping for!
