Anniversary in Santa Barbara

Thinking of staying at the Simpson House for our anniversary. Good idea? Any other suggestions? How about a recommendation for for a seafood restaurant?

we were not impressed. The colors were very loud and the furnishings were very two-dimensional. Marge was ok as a hostess, but Bart and Homers' belching was too much.

We stayed at Bath Street Inn for our anniversary, and really liked the carriage house.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Simpson House. I'm not sure about seafood per se, but Chad's is a really good romantic restaurant.

i've dreamed of staying there...almost did once and was trying to decide between the Carriage house and the cottages, but finances finally ruled it out altogether. If you go, please write a travel report! I'd love to read it. Thanks.
