Anaheim Airport?

What is the nearest airport in Anaheim, CA? I will be staying near Edison Field. I believe its Orange/Santa Ana? How long of a cab ride would it be approximately to the airport? I noticed Amtrak has a train that picks up from Anaheim and leaves off at Santa Ana, which I assume is somewhat near the airport?
Thanks for your help!

It's 9 or 10 miles from Orange County airport or 16 miles from Long Beach airport. The O.C. airport webpage says it is 10 miles from the Santa Ana Amtrak station.

Looks like this site could help:

In the Trip Planner, go From: John Wayne Aiport and To: Edison Field. You can get there with one bus connection.

Santa Ana - John Wayne(SNA) is the most convenient to Anaheim. It only has about 14-15 gates, but a lot of flights in and out. Right off the freeway too. 10 miles sounds about right from SNA to Edison field area.

Oh yea...SNA / Santa Ana / Orange County / John Wayne all refer to the same airport. It's early.

FYI - there's no convenient train from SNA to Anaheim. This is Southern California, afterall! We live for our cars... Your choices are cab (I'm guessing at $50?) or a rental car.

no way is a 10 mile cab ride going to cost you 50 bucks. count on $20 at the high end.

Let's not forget that SuperShuttle serves both Orange County and Long Beach airports. Rates should come in a bit less than $20 each way from either airport.

Since the difference in distance is negligible, I'd go for the airport with the lower airfare. I live about four miles from LGB, so I favor that one, but you can't go wrong with SNA either.
