is $39 OW for interisland a great deal? i've only flown once interisland from oahu to maui and it was included in a package tour i purchased. about 2 weeks ago i stumbled upon a $19 OW fare on aloha airlines? is this something they put on every now and then or one of those hot deals that come by very rarely?

I think they are matching the promo fares of Go!, the new intra-island airline by Mesa.

Both Aloha and Hawaiian have great inter-island specials. Beware of the new airline go. They left us at the gate and bumped us from the next flight causing us to miss our Oahu flight to Japan. We got there but not after a morning of absolute hell.
I still here my husband saying...I told you so....and you get what you pay for....so buyer beware of go!

Good to know, melen. Hope you had a great time in Japan, tho returning to cleaning up the mess in your Kona house does not sound like fun. Get DH to help you!
