Airborne worked well as a preventative for my husband and several of our neighbors.

What you might look into is your very own flight blanket, which you could spread over the seat. Magellans has them, I think.

I have found great looking easy to use seat covers. The cotton is super soft as opposed to the scratchy airline fabric. It also comes self contained in its own pouch that I store my ipod, watch, etc.. while in flight.
The website is www.niceflights.net. Hope this helps!

Plastic doesn't breathe and heavens know what will happen if it comes in contact with spandex. Or the plane lurches, it's quite slippery if you aren't wearing your seat belt at the time. Wouldn't a seat belt have to be covered as well?

And who knows what gets on the bottom of your shoes walking from the car to the plane.

"And who knows what gets on the bottom of your shoes walking from the car to the plane." - oh, shouldn't you worry more about the lavatory floor?

Ladies, when you roll up your pants to keep them off the floor while in the lavatory, do you use clothes pins to keep them rolled up?

When you are done, what do you use those pins for?

Well, that was an 'opps' moment! I guess I went backwards before I posted! Sorry.
