Hi getmethere, your question is not clear. Are you perhaps talking about certificates that give a fairly decent fair (with a code #) such as Northwest issues? Or are you referring to vouchers that some airlines use to sell if one was over age 65?

When the price of my flight went down I called the airline and got a $40 voucher in the mail. Since then, I was told, the passengers pay for these kind of vouchers $100. I doubt it's still economical.

Are you talking about buying airline vouchers from others? For example, someone gets bumped and they are given a credit voucher for $300, which they would sell at a discount, such as $200. I don't know if it's legal or not, (I tend to think not) but a guy at my office bought one on ebay. This same guy also bought another voucher for free drinks.

Please clarify your question.

Just now I clicked the OP's name to try to get a clue from any other posts. It appears that getmethere is looking for a cheap plane ticket from Montana to Texas for travel in June. If that's what you need, getmethere, please say so. We can only help you if you give us a question that's not so vague.

Or we could send getmethere to the Airline forum, where those interested in such things discuss flying.

The airline forum is a good idea and it's already been suggested to getmethere on another thread.

getmethere started another thread. The problem IMO is that Fodor's does not explain to new members how to find their post - by clicking on their name.

Oh well, it is less then 24 hours, some people do not have computer access all the time. Some people do not even have a computer, they go to a public library to use one.
