Airline Consolidators. Any recommendations?
I have received a quote from two different airline consolidators, "TravelBargains" in San Jose, California and "Integrity Travel" in Kalispel, Montana with a reduction of approximately 15% off in domestic travel from Atlanta to Jackson Hole. Am apprehensive, but tempted. Does anyone know anything about either of these companies? Does anyone have any recommendation on a reputable and reliable airline consolidator. Thanks.

I just purchased two tickets from YouPriceIt.com and was Extremely (with a capital "E") pleased. I bought tickets round trip from Ontario, CA to New Orleans for $85 each way (slightly under $100 including taxes and fees), and $150 each way (including taxes and fees) from Ontario, CA to Portland, ME. Both tickets are under 50% the best Travelocity published fares. Disadvantage: you can not choose your travel time, only date. I am flying at 7am. I found the customer service and prices at this site vastly superior to the more popular Priceline. They also give you frequent flier miles and seat assignments, and will give you a counteroffer, unlike Priceline.

The two consolidators you list sound more like local travel agents offering discounts than nationally know consolidators such as
www.cheaptickets.com
www.lowestfare.com
the other recommendations were also good
ALWAYS ALWAYS CHECK YOUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER SUNDAY TRAVEL SECTION FOR THOSE CONSOLIDATORS ADS- EASY WAY TO COMPARE FARES- SOME GIVE THEIR WEBSITES AS WELL. ALSO CHECK www.bestfares.com- check the newsdesk etc. Most travel agents worth their salt can give you 20$ off of TWA flights- so to me, l5% is nothing! Keep looking. Make sure they are licensed etc.
