Does anyone have any info on low cost airfare from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Phoenix, Arizona. We would like to vacation there next year. We already have accommodation arrangements, however, the airfare is VERY expensive (around $900). We would be willing to drive to anyplace just over the border (ie Buffalo etc) to take advantage of lower cost. Also, any suggestions with regards to connecting flights that would make airfare lower. Debbie.... generally airfare booked far enough in advance will run in the $ 500 oer ticket...starting may 1997 air canad is ONOLY way to go direct to phoenix ( 4 hrs 30 min...) it is 1000%25 better than florida...lots to do and explore and people not as old or as cranky as fld...shoppong superb, sightseeing fantastic..minimum stay one week but don't go near from June 1 to Oct 1 we have a home there and obviously a bit prejudiced!!!!

Debbie, Two regional carriers that are very big in Phoenix are Southwest and America West. Both have great safety records and are very competitive...They fly as far east as Ohio and Missouri...Check it out...

Airfair to Pheonix shouldn't be too expensive.
I flew last weekend via Air Canada to Los
Angelos and back for $300.00 with tax. You have to
watch for seat sales. Air Canada has a new page
