Airfare from Florida
I am relocating to Orlando and have been searching for a low airfare from Orland to San Diego. I get prices of $400 for mid-September. Can I do better that this? Also, are there other airports I could chose from besides the Orlando airport. Thank you.

I would sit tight. Mid-September fares aren't really "in season" for fare sales just yet and I'm thinking you will easily be able to do significantly better than that. I would suggest setting up a fare watcher with your itinerary on Travelocity. (You can also set up some alternate airports -- it will handle up to five alternative itineraries.) Tampa would be one obvious possibility and you can choose others based on what you're willing to do. But really, Orlando has a TON of air service and that is a destination that regularly produces cheap fares on sale if you simply catch them when they come up.

I live in Orlando and when I fly to San Diego I fly AmericaWest through Las Vegas. The prices I get range from $120 to $250. Are you looking on Orbitz? I would wait a few months to look for a ticket. Besides Orlando, there really aren't any other airports that are cheaper. Daytona Beach and Melbourne are about an hour but more expensive. Tampa is an hour or so but it is usually the same price as Orlando.

Carla,
Orlando is the cheapest airport in Fl.because of Disney and tourism. Also a very efficient airport. Southwest flies from MCO to San Diego, but you won't find their prices on Travelocity! Sidestep.com is a good search engine, but also contact the individual airline when given info from another agency.Southwest will only book 3 mo in advance- I agree with the post to sit tight! Sept is the best month to get great deals, IMO.
