Al, I agree--these posts seem somewhat off-topic. Yet, the lady said that traveling caused her not to have good bowel movements. Don't know, guess some of us have had that problem at times...

I had the other problem, unfortunately, while in Turkey this past Spring. Couldn't leave my hotel room in Instanbul for about two days! Drank lots of tea to stay hydrated. Real devil of a time getting clean underpants back from the laundry.

A lot of travelers have trouble with constipation while traveling. Like everybody said plenty of fruit, water and you might try a stool softner called Colace but get the generic doccusate sodium. This is just a stool softner it is not a stiumulant laxative so you don't have to worry about a dependancy or anything like that.
