Advice on Vegas Comedy Show

My friends are looking into going to David Spade's show on Friday Sept 15 at the Mirage. I am kind of on the fence as to whether or not to spend $80 pp on this show since I cannot find much in the way of reviews. I have serached through the forum and people mention going to the show but no comments on the quality. Any comments or suggested alternatives (comedy) would be appreciated.

I have been to the Comedy Stop at the Trop several times and it is usually pretty funny. I have been on weekdays and the weekend, typically the weekends have better comedians than during the week. Last time we went I think it was about $20 pp (inlcudes 1 drink).
Many people on this forum recommend Mac King, I have not seen his shown, but from what people say it is also good.

The Improv at Harrah's was pretty good last time we went. Best of all, the same-day ticket places had it half price, so it was just $35 for the two of us!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably consider one of the alternatives given that the reviews I have found on this show tend to be more negative than positive.

We went to Second City in the Flamingo last week. Very funny! About $55 per person after all the taxes.

I had a great time at the Comedy Stop at the Trop a couple of years ago and it was not expensive.

On the other hand, I would go see Spade if I had an indication that Heather might be there ;-)
