On the way to the Free Library from the Art Museum and Penitentiary, you'll walk past the Rodin Musem on the Parkway. The gift of a private collector, it's the largest collection of Rodin's work outside Paris.

On Monday when in Independence Park, you might want to make a brief stop at the Curtis Building at Sixth Street and Walnut Street. In the lobby is the Dream Garden, a 15 by 49 feet mosaic, designed by Maxfield Parrish and executed by the Tiffany Studio in 1916. (I always stop in when I'm in the neighborhood...)

Amy, LOL I keep adjusting my schedule, but this time I think I'm set. On Friday, I'm going to do a tour of Citizen's Bank Park......then I'll go to the Penitentiary, then to the Art Museum. That's going to be a fun day - but I will make a point to stop by the Free Library next time I'm in town.
Kmbp - I love the Rodin Museum - won't have time to stop in again this trip, but next time. I also have the Curtis Building down on my itinerary to check out the mosaic - thanks for the great tips?
SSVW, I won't have a car, so that's basically out. As a history buff, I would have loved to have seen Valley Forge...Thanks for the tips. My aunt lives in Cherry Hill, so next time, I will try to get her to go with me to VF.....
