Advice on honeymoon destination

We will be visiting California in mid-October on our honeymoon. Do you have suggestions of great honeymoon destinations in California. We are interested in mild climate and moderate rates for accomodations ($125 - 200) per night. We enjoy small towns, etc., rather than larger cities. Thanks for any help.

Point Reyes, Gualala, and Elk are all on the Northern California coast just above San Francisco a ways. They are just beautiful and would make a lovely honeymoon spot. We stayed at the Elk Cove Inn and it was spectacular. Website: www.elkcoveinn.com

Carmel would be the ultimate honeymoon for me, but don't think you could do it for the $$. But, if you can find a reasonable rate - it would be great !!

How about Santa Barbara? Try the Tiffany Inn or the Secret Garden Inn for two very reasonable Bed and Breakfasts. Another nice B & B is The Cheshire Cat Inn. That one may be on the higher end of your budget. Santa Barbara has nice beaches, good nightlife, theatre, restaurants, etc. A great honeymoon location.
