Any suggestions for what to do in Williamsburg in the winter? I am going next week.

Thanks again to everyone that helped me before.

Toyia22 - I missed last year's questions, but got it this year! Depending on the weather and what you did last year (what DID you end up doing?), I would recommend:

Take the Jamestown Ferry to Surrey and visit Chippokes State Park - it has a lovely walk to the old plantation area.

Jamestown - even more spruced up for 2007 and the museum is really good.

Yorktown Victory Center - great if you're a full-blooded American who's proud of its past!

Richmond is a fun day trip and they have a sort of Gray Line Tour that James River Bus Lines runs.

Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary

DeWitt Wallace Museum - as I remember it's fairly folksy and a good museum (I live here but haven't been in years!)

Check out the CW schedule for things going on - www.history.org (something like Plan Your Trip)

Have a great time and be sure to try the Fat Canary if you haven't already. Pricey but very creative food - we've never been disappointed.

Enjoy our town
