My brother is stationed in Pasadena for a few months and I'd like to visit early in the new year. Anyone know of a nice inexpensive (I'm Canadian!) place to stay?

There is a great B and B in historic Pasadena called The Bissell House. $125.00 US gets you a gourmet breakfast, a cozy bed, and a wonderful neighborhood in which to walk and take in the sights.

The Rita Carlton Huntington is having a holiday special for $169.00 too, but I'm not sure of the ending date on that. Check their website if you're interested.

Considering that there isn't a base near Pasadena, California, I'm guessing that the poster may be referring to Texas.

I thought that too, but his address said Soon @ cal so I thought he must mean California. Maybe he'll let us know.
