Thanks. I have decided to take the Tioga Pass route since it is already open I believe. I was also thinking of staying near Mono Lake/Mammoth Lakes on Day 6 (Thur night) instead of at Curry Village, and then cover Yosemite from East to West. After which I would stay at Curry Village on Day 7 and Day 8

Do you think the Mammoth Lake region will provide any good photo opportunities ?

Thanks,

Go to Google Earth and type Mammoth Lake, CA in the search box. When you zoom down close enough, you will see little camera icons. Hover your cursor over each icon and you will see a photo taken at that spot by someone just like you. Then decide.

Thanks.
I will be entering Yosemite from the Tioga Pass road on Friday (Day 7) and was planning my Yosemite trip as follows. How can I make this better and which would be the best places for Sunrise and Sunset Photography?

Friday (Day 7) – Leave from Mono Lake and take the Tioga Pass around Noon/Late Afternoon time and see/do the following. Stay overnight at Curry Village

Gaylor Lakes
Lembert Dome Trail
Tuolumne Meadows
Tenaya Lake
Curry Village
Glacier Point – for Sunset/Night photography

Saturday (Day 8) – Half Dome Trek (I will be applying for the Lottery) , ELSE the following. Stay overnight at Curry Village

Yosemite Falls
Olmsted Point
Sentinel Dome/Taft Dome Trail
Mariposa Grove
Vernal Falls
Bridalveil Falls
Tunnel View
Washburn point

Sunday (Day 9) – Remaining items from Day 2 and leave Yosemite Park via the West entrance at around Noon. See Hetch Hetchy if time permits as I have a return flight from SFO at 9 PM

Also, is it advisable to take a Shuttle or Bicycle on any of the above days? Or use my car ?
