Well, if you havent finalized you trip how about driving up the Connecticut coast, stopping for ex in Mystic, Stonington, go into Rhode Island to Newport up to Boston cradle of American civilization, then out to Cape Cod etc etc., up to Rockport, MA. Think about it.
