6 adults, 1 child. Where would YOU go?

Our family would like to go someplace special for 4-5 days to have fun, spend time together, and celebrate. 2 50-somethings, 4 30-somethings, and 1 5-year old. We've thought about Disney World, downtown Chicago, or a ranch somewhere. Where would YOU go?

Stephanie, my mother and I were just talking about this the other day. We thought a family cruise would be fun, with as many members who wanted to go. I've never been particularly interested in cruises, but as a family party it might be a great idea, as a cruise ship should be able to accommodate everybody's wants and needs. I like your idea of a ranch holiday, though. That sounds like fun, too.

What month would you travel? Chicago is great in May/June or Sept/Oct. If you're looking for another great city to visit, how about SanDiego? I went last October with my husband, kid and her grandparents. There was a lot for everyone to do to suit individual interests and plenty of family places to go together.

With a five year old, I would opt for WDW or a ranch vacation. Either way you will have fun!
