50th Girlfriends Vacation

I'm looking to take my BFF on a trip somewhere, anywhere, warm and sunny in April for her 50th. Trying to stay away from the spring break crowd while enjoying some beach time and sun. Don't want to break the bank though. We will even just take warm with a pool!!!

San Diego might be an option for you....not sure where you live.

My first thought was Key West.

Florida experts might have other ideas and know where to avoid spring breakers.

Florida just seems like a good bet if you want warm and sunny.

Laguna Beach is charming. Great shopping, restaurants, art galleries. You could also go to Catalina as a day trip. So relaxing.

Yes I thought about Key West and Florida and Cancun, etc etc but it's spring break time and everything I read says it's crazy busy! I am coming from Denver and she is coming from St Louis. We just want warm and sunny! I'm thinking perhaps some quiet beach off the beaten path in florida or California. Suggestions?

Look into Siesta Key Florida. GORGEOUS beach, laid back. Not a place spring breakers would go.

Spring breakers don't usually do Key West. It is expensive for most. The airfare would be a biggie. You can fly into Miami and drive to Key West or fly into KW. You don't need a car if you fly into KW.

Southwest now flies to Key West, which is nice. We flew into Fort Lauderdale and drove. But once we were there, we walked everywhere. Very fun.

There are very few beaches on Key West if that's important to you.
