48 hours in Sedona

Hi everyone

My trip is one month away - time flies.

This is a weekend before a conference in Phoenix. Arrive Friday night and then on Sunday night we arrive at the conference - so just about two full days.

I'm staying at the Sky Ranch Lodge. Other than hiking and spa activities, what else did you enjoy in Sedona?

I think there is a pink jeep tour if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks!

Eating and drinking in a beautiful setting. We stayed at Sky Ranch last April and lucked out and got a view room. Sat and watched the sunset with a glass of wind from their onsite wine bar.

Before checking in, we headed up to the Enchantment Resort for a cocktail and appetizer. Beautiful! I posted before about this, but we got there at 3:30 and our room was ready. They wanted $25 extra to check in a half hour early! We thought that very weird.

The next day, we did a Jeep tour with another company, not Pink Jeep. It was fun!

We we did not dine at any place special, but the Mariposa came highly recommended.

The next few nights we spent down the road in Cottonwood. We did some wine tasting, visited Jerome, and the fabulous copper museum in Clarkdale.

It's been a long time but the Pink Jeep tour was great fun. Other than that, hanging out, eating & drinking, shopping & general consumption in a beautiful setting seem to be the main reasons for Sedona existing. With just 2 days I'd take full advantage of what Sedona does best.

I also enjoyed the Pink Jeep tour. Complete blast, especially for those of us sitting in the back seat hanging on for dear life.

We were kind of disappointed in our meal at Mariposa but did enjoy Cafe Elote.
