3 days in Boulder

My husband and I will be traveling to Boulder at the end of June. We will be staying at The St. Julien Hotel & Spa. It is the first leg of a two week trip (4 days in Boulder/4 in Jackson Hole//4 in Portland). We are in our mid 40's, love to run, love to eat and enjoy cities, walking and exploring. Our traveling philosophy is "less is more" in terms of not trying to do too much in any given day. I have a couple of dinner reservations including one at Frasca. We are also seeing Ed Sheeran at Red Rocks, which I am really excited about. We would love to do a relatively easy hike since we will be adjusting to the altitude change. Looking for suggestions for good hikes with great scenery, as well as other outdoor activities. We are not big shoppers, but we do like wandering around towns and cities and stopping at a cafe to watch the world go by. Thanks in advance.

The Boulder Creek path is ~5 miles, very nice, very little elevation change. You can access it by crossing Canyon Blvd. (it's just across the street). Or, go up to NCAR (http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildi...s_Researc.html), walk through the fascinating I.M. Pei building (worth a trip in itself, lots of exhibits) and out the west door into a lovely trail system with terrific views. Just outside town in nearby Louisville, the Davidson Mesa open space is very nice, great views (http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail...lid=HGR254-026)

Across the street from the St. Julien is one of my favorite restaurants, Brasserie Ten Ten (https://www.brasserietenten.com/)
Just go east a block or so to Pearl Street Mall, pedestrian-only shopping, dining, people watching, etc. Also a block or two away, Hotel Boulderado is a nice place for evening cocktails.

Also, just east on the Diagonal Highway (Gunbarrel), the Celestial Seasonings factory tour (http://www.celestialseasonings.com/t...FQuFaQod1hsAcA) is very popular, along with the (free) Leanin' Tree of Western Art (indoor and outdoor; http://www.leanintreemuseum.com/)

You might enjoy eating at The Fort near Red Rocks--great view and wild game menu.
The Celestial Seasonings tour is a lot of fun--only about an hour. Very interesting.

Chautauqua Park is a great place to hike, and has one of our all-time favorite restaurants, their Dining Hall. You can sit on their open patio and watch the sunset. Great food and service. Reasonable prices.

Ed Shearan at Red Rocks will be special. Have fun! (Wear walking shoes for all the steps and paths leading to seating)
