3 day vacation ideas
Looking for suggestions of where to meet for a 3 day family get together in mid-February. It's my husband and myself, 3 adult children in their 20's and their significant others. Two coming from Portland OR, two from Minneapolis, one from Chicago, one from Cincinnati, and two from Indianapolis. So someplace warm, fairly easy to get to from all locations, variety of activities available.

San Diego is always a great place..altho it will be winter and cool at night ...always a chance of rain..
3 days is hard to go very far.
Altho I don't think of Texas as a warm weather..maybe an alternative. I stayed recently at the Gaylord Texan for Business. They did have a spa...a shopping center with decent food, hip young stores...
Reviews of teh Westin Stonebriar also north Texas seems comparable re spa shopping
Also saw Four Seasons Dallas listed.

What about Las Vegas? I think it's a good 3-day kind of city and it is probably a location that is often running some sort of air/hotel/car deal. You can also check some websites like cheaptickets or orbitz and click on the deals and destinations options. Often, they will have things packaged in 3-day trips and our own family took advantage of a similar trip a while back for quite a bargain.
You could also consider St. Louis, a gem of a city IMHO, and also located (sort of) in the middle of the country.
Depending on what you mean by warm, that could rule out both the cities above. Warm is relative in mid-feb when you've got folks living in the great lakes states. (I live in Memphis where a light jacket will get you thru most of the winter, so warm for me in winter is Miami)
If you mean warm like tropical warm, maybe San Antonio. Or perhaps even a visit to my fair city!
Good Luck!
