20th anniversary on Oahu, need recommendations!!
We will spend our 20th anniversary on Oahu next week. Do you have a favorite restrauant you would recommend? We are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, I know there are many restaurants there, any you have eaten at that are good??
Would like to surprise hubby with a bottle of champagne on ice left in our room when we are out, have you ever had a hotel do this for you??
Any suggestions for other surprises (keep it clean folks)
Thanks, Margie

Margie,
The Golden Dragon at the HHV is gorgeous if you like Chinese -It's probably not like any Chinese restaurant you've ever seen, and the food is superb! I'd call the hotel and speak to the concierge whom I'm sure will arrange the champagne for you! Have a wonderful trip. I've stayed at HHV, and it's a terrice little kingdom, all in itself. But be sure to get out and see the rest of the island!
Aloha,
Lani

Margie-
First of all congratulations. 20 years is a long time in the US these days. Agree w/ Lani that you need to get out and see things. Too easy to stay w/in the confines of HHV.
I'll be if you tell the concerige about your hope to surprise your husband, they'll take care of it no problem.
If you like Thai food I am very partial to Keo's. Its right off Kalakaua Avenue (the main street running through Waikiki).

Thanks for the responses. And MM thanks for the congrats on the 20 years, your right in this day in age it is something to be truely celebrated. This is our second trip, so the beauty of Oahu is not lost on us, we do not plan to spend our time at the HHV. We plan to do much exploring on Ohua and than will do the same on Maui.
Thanks again!!!
Thanks again!!!
