Hi, I will have 20 days in mid September and I would like to take a car-camping (in my Prius) road trip. I'm leaving from Kentucky. Any suggestions? Thanks.

With that time you could go to the far west and have a wonderful time. OR you could go east for a wonderful trip. Which do you think you 'd like best and then we can go from there.

Decide on what you want to see and plan from there. National parks? Odd stuff? Diners? The possibilities are vast! How about out west with a northerly route and back with a southerly route? You'll need to rest. It's a lot of driving! When we drove X-C from Pittsburgh, We made a rule to eat and drink locally at least once a day. With our deadline, we didn't have time to explore much, yet we got to see some interesting things like the blue turf at the football stadium in Boise and Red Rocks in CO. Enjoy your trip! Everyone should drive X-C at least once!
